This came from a simple problem: I have too many thoughts, links, reminders, and half-formed ideas moving through too many places.
I wanted a system that could catch those inputs quickly, clean them up, and put them somewhere I could actually use later.
So I built a personal AI chief of staff using Claude Code and Codex, with Notion as the second brain where the database lives.
The basic flow is straightforward:
- I send something in
- the system organizes it
- it turns into a usable note instead of another forgotten message
Most of the querying happens through WhatsApp, which is the interface I use every day. I have also added functionality there for things beyond organizing notes, so it can help with actions as well as capture.
I made it because I wanted less friction between having a thought and keeping it in a way that stays useful.
It is not really about productivity theater. It is about building a system I actually live with every day.
