I finished school a semester early and used the gap to travel widely before the next chapter locked in.

After college I graduated a semester early and spent that in-between period traveling.
It was a useful gap because it interrupted the normal straight-line professional script. Instead of moving directly from school into one fixed role, there was time to move, look around, and reset perspective before the next chapter settled.
I want this site to hold that period properly once the full list of places is in here, because it was not just a break. It was part of how the larger story opened up.
